Ravichandran Ashwin became the fastest Indian bowler to bag hundred wickets in Tests. Ashwin surpassed Erapalli Prasanna who had achieved the feat in 20 Test matches. Ashwin reached the mark with the wicket of Darren Sammy.
 
Ashwin has been on a roll not only with his bowling but with his all-round contribution for the team. He has topped the charts in the ICC Test Rankings for all-rounders after he scored a ton in the first Test.

Most of Ashwin’s wickets have come against Australia and West Indies. In all he has played against just four oppositions and almost all of his wickets have come at home. He has just toured once i.e. to Australia where he didn’t have memorable run.

Ashwin is also the fastest bowler to complete the feat since World War.
