Gary Ballance has been dismissed for 64 on Day Two of the fifth Test between India and England. Ravichandran Ashwin was bowling and he got Ballance to push at it and he played it straight into Cheteshwar Pujara’s hands at short-leg. England are now 201 for three.

Earlier, Ballance had been given a reprieve off the bowling of Ashwin when Ajinkya Rahane dropped a chance at first slip. And then, Alastair Cook was dismissed when Murali Vijay finally held on to a chance at first slip.

Now, the new batsmen in the middle are Joe Root and Ian Bell. England are firmly in control of the game and one can say that though India have taken these breakthroughs, they need a lot more if they are to get back in this match. A huge task lies ahead of them.
