In the 33rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014, Chennai Super Kings got a much needed breakthrough in the form of Ambati Raudu after the ball was being struck straight to long on’s throat.Mithun Manhas missed a sitter in the deep after Lendl Simmons decided to go big of the 11th over of the game. Simmons then slammed on the on side and hit a big six. There were more comical errors on the field when Badree was caught wrong footed at short third man and the ball rolled for a boundary.

Earlier, Chennai won the toss and elected to field. Mumbai made one change at top of the order as Lendl Simmons was asked to open the batting. The right-handed batsman along with CM Gautam started cautiously.
