India’s star batsman and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Captain Virat Kohli is known for his social work. The popular cricketer recently met kids from the NGO Make A Wish Foundation in Bengaluru. What was also worth noticing was the fact that Kohli was accompanied by his RCB Teammate AB de Villiers as well. The cricketers met two kids – Punit Bhansali and Ishan Jain and spent some quality time with them which made their day and made their wishes come true as well. The Make-a-wish foundation is an NGO which aims at granting the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses and medical conditions. This is also not the first time Virat Kohli has shown his generous side towards the society. Last month as well, Kohli’s Foundation had come together with ABIL Foundation to extend a helping hand towards Old Age Home ‘Abhalmaya’, which is currently home to 57 senior citizens. And this time, both, Kohli and ABD made sure they brought a smile on the faces of the kids.

Meanwhile, both Kohli and AB de Villiers were involved in a massive batting partnership for RCB against Gujarat Lions on the same day in IPL 2016. The duo took on the bowling fearlessly and each of them scored a century to take the game away from GL at Bengaluru. Kohli made 109 of 55 balls whereas De Villiers scored 129 off 52 deliveries in a record breaking partnership. RCB won the match by a margin of 144 runs. De Villiers was adjudged Player of the match. Well, it looks like both of them compliment each other pretty well on and off the field as well. RCB will be playing KKR at Kolkata in Match no. 48 of IPL 2016.
