Apr 24, 2014
Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli were looking good for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in chase of 151 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 11th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014. Sunil Narine was called upon to bowl the twelfth over, and he responded by bowling another tight over, going for just three runs off it.

In the eleventh over, Yuvraj pulled Umesh Yadav over midwicket for six. Kohli followed it up by hitting Yadav thorough midwicket for a boundary to make it 13 runs off the over.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost two back-to-back wickets. After a 67-run opening stand, Yogesh Takawale was the first to be dismissed for a 28-ball 40. Parthiv Patel followed soon dismissed by Vinay Kumar for 21. Bangalore were 77 for two after 10 overs. They needed 74 runs in 60 balls.

Jacques Kallis was brought on to bowl the eighth over of the innings and managed to keep things quiet for the first couple of balls till Takawale managed to get a boundary down to third man.  Kallis got his revenge immediately, when he got Takawale LBW for a well-made 40 off just 28 balls. On the first ball of the next over, Parthiv was beaten by the bounce and the leading edge flew straight to Chris Lynn.

Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh are batting. Morkel came back to bowl the 10th over. Morkel and Yadav were scored off at the start and the two wickets has quietened things. The pacer tested Yuvraj with a few short deliveries.
