Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Chennai Super Kings in the 53rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 in Bangalore. The last time these two teams met, Bangalore emerged victorious at Ranchi. Bangalore are out of the tournament and will be looking for some pride with a win over mighty Chennai.

Bangalore have looked inconsistent and Yuvraj Singh is the only batsman who has fired this year for them. They have not batted well and will be looking to get some runs in the match. Mitchell Starc has been their bowler and will be looking to continue his good form. Other than being good with the ball, Starc has been excellent in the field also.


Chennai like always has performed well and made it to the knockout stages once again for the seventh consecutive time. Dwayne Smith has been their key batsman and he has carried his form from Mumbai Indians last year. Mohit Sharma has been the key bowler who has taken 18 wickets this year and the youngster will be looking to leave a mark on the tournament with some fine bowling figures.
