Regis Chakabvwa becomes 2nd Zimbabwean to score century batting at no. 7
Regis Chakabva gets his maiden Test century

Nov 6, 2014
Regis Chakabva of Zimbabwe earned his maiden Test century against Bangladesh on the fourth day of the 2nd Test at Khulna. His ton came off 226 balls which included 13 boundaries with strike rate of 44.69. His previous best score was 63 back in 2012 against New Zealand at Napier. He becomes the second batsman in the team after Hamilton Masakadza to score a century in this game. Owing to this, he also became the second Zimbabwean batsman to score a century batting at no. 7 after Craig Wishart who scored 114 against the same team at Chittagong back in 2001.
However, with nine wickets down, it’s still a long way for Zimbabwe to surpass Bangladesh’s total of 433 as they still trail by 66 runs.
