Rishabh Pant’s captaincy skills in Duleep Trophy 2024 impresses Ex-India Coach

The Duleep Trophy 2024 is currently ongoing and some of the biggest players who have been a part of Indian team are playing the tournament.

The captains for the four teams are Shubhman Gill for India A, Abhimanyu Easwaran for India B, Ruturaj Gaikwad for India C and Shreyas Iyer for India D.

It is, however, none of these four captains that were noticed by former Indian women’s team coach WV Raman, as he praised the captaincy of Rishabh Pant, even though Pant was not selected to be the leader of any of the four teams.

“It doesn’t matter who is the captain. Rishabh Pant is always a leader in the field. The chat he had in the break… He suggested a few things to Saini and looks like it has worked,” Raman said on commentary.
