Rohit Sharma reached a career 4th One-Day International (ODI) 150 during the first ODI between India and Australia at Perth on Tuesday. Rohit along with Virat Kohli helped India recover after Australia made an early dismissal by removing Shikhar Dhawan in the seventh over. That wicket had left India at 36 for 1 and brought Virat on crease with Rohit. That moment has been left way back as the duo have come a long way with their stand of 207 runs for the second wicket before Virat was dismissed for 91. It is the sixth Indian pair and 14th overall to register three or more 175 runs-plus stands in ODI. India have dominated the inexperienced bowling Australian attack and are looking good at 276 for 2 after 47.3 overs. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: India vs Australia 2015-16, 1st ODI at Perth

While Rohit holds the highest individual score from an Indian at WACA, Perth with 155 runs from 175 balls, Virat surpassed his previous best on this ground and now is behind Rohit with the second highest total from an India at WACA. Their parnership of 207 runs is the second highest from an Indian pair, meaning, the stand of 213 runs between Yuvraj Singh and VVS Laxman still remains the highest partnership from an Indian pair on the Australian soil.

India won the toss and Dhoni elected to bat. The visitors have successfully made full use of the toss so far in the match. The hosts Australia had already announced their playing eleven a day before the start of the match. It is after three years that Australia have handed debuts to two cricketers, the last occasion being in 2013. Joel Paris and Scott Boland are playing in this first ODI between India and Australia at Perth. Meanwhile, India are fielding one debutant—Barinder Sran, who received the ODI cap from Indian skipper MS Dhoni. Live Cricket Blog & Score Updates: India vs Australia 2015-16, 1st ODI at Perth
