Rohit Sharma completed his 26th One-Day International (ODI) half-century in 53 deliveries during the first game of the three-match series between India and Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka on Thursday. Bangladesh were earlier bowled out for a score of 308 after winning the toss and electing to bat. Tamim Iqbal (60) and Soumya Sarkar (54) scored half-centuries and added 102 for the first wicket. After a few quick dismissals, all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan (52), Sabbir Rahman (41) and Nasir Hossain (34) rallied together to propel the Bangladeshis past the 300-run mark.
