Rohit Sharma fined for slow over-rate in CLT20 2013 semi-final against Trinidad and Tobago

Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma was fined USD 1,500 for maintaining a slow over rate during Champions League Twenty20 2013 (CLT20 2013) semi-final against Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday.

At the end of the match, Mumbai Indians were assessed to be one over behind the required rate after allowances were taken into consideration.

“This was his second offence of the season under the CLT20s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences and Mr. Sharma was fined US$1,500 whilst each team member was fined US$750,” an official release said.
