In the 33rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014, Mumbai Indians were on the attack against Chennai Super Kings when Ambati Rayudu wanted to get a move on and Ravindra Jadeja’s first ball over the 16th over was smacked over deep mid wicket for a six. The next four balls were singles and the last ball was worked away in deep point for a couple.

Mohit came back for another over when and Ambati Rayudu’s intentions were clear when he was trying to step down the wicket but couldn’t connect in the first two deliveries. The rest of the deliveries were clever and tactful and were worked away only for singles. Mohit’s last ball was in the slot and wide but Faf du Plessis produced a magical effort on the field to leap and take the catch and throw the ball away a nanosecond before he crossed the rope.

Ravichandran Ashwin bowled the 18th over of the match and he attacked around the wicket. A couple of singles came of the first few balls. Rohit Sharma, in an attempt to make for du Plessis’s earlier thwarting his efforts to go big slammed the ball to deep mid wicket and Suresh Raina took a stunning diving catch. Rayudu then brought up his fifty with a big six.
