Rohit to not open the batting in Adelaide Test?

Indian captain Rohit Sharma is likely to bat down the order in the upcoming Test against Australia at the Adelaide Oval following openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul’s impressive batting display in the first Test. The 37-year-old listed himself to bat at the number 5 spot in India’s 2-day pink-ball practice match against the Prime Minsiter’s XI.

It is likely that Rohit will bat on the same position in the Adelaide Oval Test which is scheduled to commence from December 6.
