Rohit, Warner World's Best T20 Openers: Tom Moody

Former Australian cricketer Tom Moody has named Rohit Sharma and David Warner as the best T20 openers in the world currently. He revealed this in a Q&A session on Twitter, where he also picked former India skipper MS Dhoni as the best captain.

There is abundance of cricketing talent in India but amongst the emerging ones, Moody feels Shubman Gill "stands out". Gill has played two ODIs for India and has also made the Test team but is yet to get a game.

Moody, who has coached multiple IPL teams, believes New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson is blessed with the best cricketing brain and Ravindra Jadeja is his favourite Indian fielder.

Asked about his favourite Indian cricketer, Moody picked skipper Virat Kohli.

Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer on Saturday picked his all-time greatest ODI XI, which featured four Indians. Former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. MS Dhoni and current skipper Virat Kohli and opener Rohit Sharma are the Indians who made it to his the Mumbai domestic stalwarts list.

Meanwhile, all cricketing activities have been suspended by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Cricketers are staying indoors amid the 21-day lockdown across the country. While some cricketers are catching up with some reading, others are working out in their home and some are spending family time engaging in fun activities.
