S Sreesanth and Ankeet Chavan are facing more trouble as CCTV footage released shows them meeting and speaking with bookie Jiju Janardhanan on May 9 in a hotel in Chandigarh. The footage was acquired by Delhi and Punjab police.

The players and bookie are seen in the footage talking and then exchanging gift packages anytime between 10 PM to 6 AM. There were also two girls spotted around the cricketers in the footage. A total of six cameras around the hotel captured the footage, reported Times of India.

This was after the May 9 match between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab — a game during which Sreesanth bowled the rigged over, putting a towel in his trousers.

In the footage, Chavan is seen holding a gift bag with Jiju as they knock on Sreesanth’s door at about 10.15 PM. Then Sreesanth took the bag from Chavan.

The trio then walked around for 10 minutes in the hall before they met a woman. At around 10.55 PM, the woman along with Sreesanth and Chavan left the hotel.

Then at around 2.19 AM the Kerala pacer was seen with another woman. They then went into his room along with Chavan. At about 3.55 AM Sreesanth was seen at the foyer.

Sreesanth and Chavan along with Rajasthan teammate Ajit Chandila are in the custody of the Delhi Police after they were arrested from Mumbai on May 16 on charges of spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League 2013.
