Sreesanth reveals to cops names of prominent Indian players who were gifted Hummer, other high-end cars and women to spot-fix

The spot-fixing scandal is getting messier by the minute with Shanthakumaran Sreesanth revealing to  investigating police names of prominent India players who were allegedly offered expensive gifts like Hummer, other high-end cars, expensive watches and women at parties while convincing them to spot-fix, according to sources, The Indian Express reported.

Police sources are yet to corroborate Sreesanth’s statements and are investigating the matter.

The newspaper also reported that the bookies thus far  have revealed during the interrogation that they had taken the Rajasthan Royals players shopping and that “[Ajit] Chandila had bought two pairs of jeans worth Rs 2.5 lakh and expensive watches.”

The news report also says that at the time of his arrest from Carter Road on Wednesday night, Sreesanth was with an Indian film actress and two other women in a sedan when sleuths intercepted his vehicle.

Investigations are in full swing and the days ahead could bring in more shocking news.
