Sachin Tendulkar 200th Test: Cricketers wish Master Blaster on Twitter

Cricketers and celebrities from all around the world extended their wishes to the Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, as he plays his 200th and last Test match against West Indies at Wankhede Satdium.

Fans at Wankhede Stadium erupted in joy after the fall of Murali Vijay‘s wicket. Vijay’s dismissal off Shane Shillingford signalled the arrival of Sachin Tendulkar perhaps batting for one last time.

As Tendulkar walked down the staircase, the spectators seated at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) Pavilion jostled to click photographs. The players from both teams gave a guard of honour to Tendulkar as he walked up to bat. After reaching the crease Tendulkar touched the ground and sought blessings from the almighty.

While the spectators cheered for him, the first ball brought a huge sigh as he cautiously defended it towards the leg-side.

Vijay tried to offer a defensive push and the ball was caught bat-pad by Darren Sammy. for 43. Even in the first test at Eden Gardens, where India batted just once, Vijay departed to cheers and applause from the spectators as Tendulkar walked out to bat.
