Sachin Tendulkar completes 3,500 runs in Test cricket against Australia

Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday created yet another record by completing 3,500 runs in Test cricket against Australia, during the first Test at Chennai.
Tendulkar, who struck a fluent unbeaten half-century against the Australian side in India’s first innings, took a single off Moises Henriques in the 41st over to create the record.
Tendulkar has a splendid batting average of 58.38 against the Australians in his 23-year long career, wherein he slammed 11 centuries and 16 half-centuries.
Meanwhile, India lost their two openers James Pattinson but fought back via Cheteshwar Pujara and Sachin Tendulkar, taking tea at 84 for two on Day Two of the first Test agianst Australia.
