Sachin Tendulkar, on Twitter, congratulated the captain of India’s Women’s team, Mithali Raj, on her reaching the milestone of 5000 One Day International (ODI) runs. Mithali achieved the landmark during her unbeaten knock of 81 against New Zealand in the ongoing series in Bangalore. Her attacking performance, studded with ten fours, took India to a commanding victory to level the five-match series 2-2.

 

 

Mithali has played 157 ODIs and has an impressive average of 48.82, with five centuries and 37 fifties.
