Sachin Tendulkar on Thursday mourned the demise of actor-wrestler Dara Singh.

 

The master-blaster tweeted: “Along with the whole country I mourn the sad demise of Dara Singh ji. May his soul rest in peace.”(sic)

 

The veteran actor-wrestler, who was also a member of the parliament breathed his last at 7.30 am at his residence in Mumbai, Zee News reported. He was 84.

 

His son, Vindu Dara Singh announced news of the death of Dara, who was also known as ‘Rustam-e-Hind Dara Singh’.

 

India’s star cricketer Yuvraj Singh too condoled the death of Dara Singh.
