Sachin Tendulkar farewell Test: Little Master thanks fans on Twitter

India’s legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who is set to retire from international cricket after the second Test between India and the West Indies at Mumbai, on Wednesday thanked his fans and supporters on the microblogging website Twitter.

AsTendulkar’s final Test series began at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) launched its unique initiative to send personalised picture of the batting legend along with his autograph for fans, on Twitter.

The BCCI asked the fans to send a message to its Twitter account (@BCCI) with a hashtag #ThankYouSachin, following which they received a photo of Tendulkar along with his autograph and a personalised message.

BCCI tweeted before the start of the first Test at Kolkata, “News:During this Test series, tweet a message for Sachin to @BCCI with #ThankYouSachin & we will tweet you a personalized picture of Sachin.
