Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar on Tuesday made a trip to Thiruvananthapuram, as he is the brand ambassador of the ‘Run Kerala Run’ campaign.

According to the Indian Express, Tendulkar ran with the participants, greeted the fans who had come in large numbers in traditional ‘Namaskaram’ and even took selfies with couple of fans.

The mass run was flagged off by governor R Sathasivam, and Tendulkar, along with Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy and sports minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, Tendulkar ran about 200 meters.

The report added that Tendulkar’s fans had outnumbered the participants in the race, as they had gathered at the venue couple of hours before the start of the event. The crowd went crazy when the cricket legend arrived at around 10.45 am, and chanted his name.
