Sachin Tendulkar again missed out on reaching his 100th international century when he was dismissed for two in India’s tri series One-Day International with Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.

Tendulkar has now gone without a century for 26 Test and one-day innings.

His last hundred (111) was in the World Cup last March.

He was caught by Ricky Ponting off left-arm paceman Mitchell Starc after just six balls in his latest batting failure. (AFP)
