Despite the on going T20 World Cup 2016, cricketers from around the globe have come forward and sent across best wishes for Holi to their beloved fans. The first person to go on twitter was former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar mentioning to have lot’s of fun and not to waste water. Holi is played across the globe today and the Indian team after their thrilling win against Bangladesh in Match 25 of the tournament, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya, Suresh Raina and likes shared pictures celebrating this auspicious festival with their team mates. England Women’s cricket team key player Heather Knight also sent out her warm wishes for Holi from Dharamsala. West Indies mighty player Chris Gayle also send across his wishes all the way from Nagpur. While Australia hard-hitter Glenn Maxwell played along with local people at Mohali which will soon feature on his Blog. Other global cricketers to send their wishes were Tom Moody, Alan Wilkins, Russel Arnold, Bishen Bedi, Ramiz Raja, Brett Lee, Irfan Pathan, Rishi Dhawan and many more. WT20 2016 has taken unpredictable turns, barring New Zealand from Group 2, the rest of the teams are yet to find their spot in the semi-final. As per the points table, India, Pakistan and Australia are sailing in the same boat. Deciding matches will take place on Friday between Australia and Pakistan on Friday, India and Australia on Sunday from Group 2. While from Group 1, West Indies are at the top winning both their matches so far and a win against South Africa on Friday, will earn them semi-final spot.
