Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, since his retirement, likes to spend his time with his family, friends and relatives. Not only that, he also loves to travel and visit different places around the world. The now-retired cricketer is currently in England and that is when he posted picture of him along with the famous statue of Charlie Chaplin which is in Leicester Square, London. Sachin wrote about the the great comic actor, filmmaker, and composer on his Instagram account. The statue was made by sculptor John Doubleday and it portrays Charlie Chaplin’s best-known role, as The Tramp. It was installed at nearby street in 2013 to prevent damage from reconstruction in the area, but later returned to Leicester Square in April 2016. Tendulkar who is also known for his work towards humanity and society, recently donated Rs 76 lakh for building school in a village of West Bengal. As a Member of Parliament (MP) he had donated the amount from his MPLAD fund. Not only that, Tendulkar was recently also made the brand ambassador of an anti-drug campaign in Kerela by the newly elected Chief Minister of the state. Apart from that, Tendulkar was also appointed as one of the goodwill ambassadors for the Rio Olympics this year.
