Sachin Tendulkar remembers his dad on Father's Day

Former Indian cricketer and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar shared a picture of him along with his father on the occasion of Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21.

Ramesh Tendulkar, the Master Blaster’s father, was a reputed Marathi poet and novelist. He passed away while Sachin was touring with the Indian cricket team in the 1999 World Cup. Sachin, as result, missed out on the league match against Zimbabwe in order to attend his father’s last rites.
