Sachin Tendulkar set to make acting debut in his biopic
Sachin Tendulkar has played 200 Tests and 463 ODIs in his 24-year international career.

Former India batsman Sachin Tendulkar is all set to make his acting debut in his own biopic. Although tendulkar has acted i many advertisements before, this will be the first time he will take part in a feature film. James Erskine has been roped in to directing the movie. A Mumbai based production company called 200 not out is going to produce this movie, which will be based on Tendulkar’s life. They have bagged the rights from World Sports Group, according to zeenews.india.com. Tendulkar after his retirement released his autobiography called “Playing it my Way”, which talked about his cricketing career, both on and off the field. Tendulkar’s illustrious international career when he made his Test debut against Pakistan at Karachi in 1989. He was just 16 back then. An On-Day International (ODI) debut followed soon after that. In his 24-year international career he went on to play 200 Tests and 463 ODIs, which is a world record. He is also the leading run-scorer in Tests and ODIs with over 15,000 and 18,000 runs respectively. He also has the distinction of scoring 100 international tons, whch nobody has achieved till date. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had organised a special series in Tendulkar’s honour against West Indies in November 2013, where he played his 199th and 200th Test. Tendulkar recently was part of the All Stars T20 tournament, which was played in the US. His team, Sachin’s Blasters played Warne’s Warriors in a three-match T20 series.
