Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is all set to make his Bollywood debut, as he has agreed to make a special appearance in filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s forthcoming film ‘Ferrari Ki Sawari’.

According to reports, the Little Master has not only agreed to do a cameo in the film but has also allowed the makers to use his name in the film.

Tendulkar will shoot for the film after the end of the fifth edition of Indian Premier League.

The producers remained tight-lipped on Tendulkar’s cameo, but Chopra said he is happy to use the cricket legend’s name in the film.

“There is a mention of him in the film. We are happy that we got to use his name in the film. For that (special appearance) you will have to see the film. I can’t say about it now. I would love everyone to watch the film,” Chopra said.

‘Ferrari Ki Sawari’, scheduled to release on June 15, stars Sharman Joshi in the role of a father and Boman Irani as the grandfather of the child.

The story revolves around the child’s dream to play cricket, and in a bid to fulfill his dream enters the twisted tale of a Ferrari. The story deviates into an interesting mode when Sharman s character is instructed to steal Sachin’s Ferrari.

The theatrical trailer of ‘Ferrari Ki Sawari’ portrays Sharman mentioning about Tendulkar s Ferrari.
