Sachin Tendulkar, Shahrukh Khan compliment each other on Twitter

Sachin Tendulkar and Sharukh Khan exchanged words on Twitter showing a mark of respect to each other. Both, Tendulkar and Sharukh probably are the ambassadors of their respective professions in India did not hesitate while appreciating the other and this shows the character and integrity in them. Sharukh, who is called the ‘King Khan’ of the Indian film industry was delighted with the overwhelming response to ‘Jabra Fan’ song from his upcoming flick Fan, wrote on Twitter, “Sachin: Aila @sachin_rt Umpire kuch bhi kahe, mere liye toh u wil always b not-out! Tendulkar who retired from cricket in 2013 has been spending time with family these days. Last week he visited a wildlife sanctuary in eastern Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region, accompanied by his wife Anjali and son Arjun. The former cricketer is one of the most active cricketers on social media. Excited about his trip, Tendulkar had posted a photo of his striped T-shirt, jeans and a hat on his Twitter account challenging his fans to guess the place. He said,“Soaking in the pleasure of Mother Nature! Spot me in the wilderness & guess where am I?”

Last August, Tendulkar was invited to become Maharashtra’s Tiger Ambassador and he accepted the proposal by Forests Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar. According to official figures cited by Mungantiwar, Vidarbha has the potential to become the ‘Tiger Capital’ of India with its tiger population increasing from 169 in 2006 to 190 in 2014. India is currently home to 2,226 tigers, shooting up significantly from 1,706 in 2010.
