Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli stitched a mammoth 664-run stand in school cricket. Needless to say, they rose to fame and attained the national jersey in no time. While Tendulkar became India‘s heartthrob, known as Master Blaster, Kambli’s career took off in a desirable manner before falling apart. Nonetheless, despite all the ups and downs, Tendulkar and Kambli’s friendship remained undeterred. On Kambli’s 46’s birthday, Sachin posted a heartfelt message on Twitter.

The message clearly states the current equation between both superstar cricketers. Tendulkar surely knows how to make a friends’ birthday special. Talking about the left-hander’s career, he represented India in 17 Tests and 104 ODIs. While he averages above 50 in whites, his limited-overs appearance was restricted post early 2000s.

Trivia

Not many know that Kambli averaged more than Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Mohammad Azharuddin and Virender Sehwag in Tests.
