Sania Mirza has reacted to the incident involving Shoaib Malik and Tino Best in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Malik is Mirza’s husband and was involved in a heated exchange with Best during the CPL match between Barbados Tridents and St Lucia Zouks. The Indian tennis star tweeted about the incident, condemning Best’s behavior.
Mirza stated on her Twitter page, “Racial abusing on a cricket field?disgusting.i knw @realshoaibmalik didn’t hit him but how I wish he would hav! #tinobest #idiot (sic).” [six] It is shocking considering that Mirza tweeted that she wished Malik would have hit Best.

In the 15th over of the match, Malik walked across his stumps to Best and was bowled. Best celebrated and said something as Malik made his way back. Malik quickly stopped him and was seen telling him something and pointing his finger. The umpires had to intervene and Malik walked back in anger.
