In the 56th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Karun Nair was on the front foot for Rajasthan Royals (RR) and smashed a  huge six and a four, which bisected the two deep fielders to go to the boundary. Then Karun attempted a reverse sweep and the ball raced to the boundary. The last ball of the over flabbergasted the Mumbai Indians dugout after a gentle push on the leg side reached the boundary. 19 runs came of the Shreyas Gopal over.

Karun didn’t stop there and went after Kieron Pollard as well to take the score to 90 for one in just 12 overs. Pragyan Ojha came on to bowl in the seventh over and he bowled in the right channels to keep both batsmen in check. Harbhajan Singh then came to bowl the eighth over. Again, they could not do much apart from knocking the ball around the ground.

Earlier, Mumbai won the toss and chose to bowl first in a crucial encounter. With the equations in place, they needed to bat second as that would make their task relatively easier. Mumbai brought back Corey Anderson and dropped Marchant de Lange. Rajasthan also made a few changes to their side.
