Sarfaraz Khan’s Wholesome gesture for Musheer Khan as Mumbai wins Irani Cup Title

Sarfaraz Khan continued his impressive run-scoring and scored a massive double-century for Mumbai in the Irani Cup in Lucknow.
He was released from the Indian Test squad to represent Mumbai against Rest Of India (ROI), and made a big contributions in leading Mumbai to their 15th Irani Cup title.

Sarfaraz was given the Player of the Match award for his display, which he dedicated to his younger brother Musheer Khan, as he was ruled out of Irani Cup after suffering a car accident before the series.

“I try to follow the process and whatever I have been doing with my Abbu. If you travel all around India, you are used to how the wickets play. One has to work all-around at their game, look at how the seniors are doing and also I need to work on my weaknesses. This trophy is the team’s but I promised at home that I will make a hundred for Musheer who suffered an accident and this is for him,” said Sarfaraz Khan.
