After the rains washed out first ODI on Monday, Afghanistan and Scotland are set to clash for final ODI at Edinburgh on Wednesday. The live streaming of the match will be available on Afghan TV for Afghanistan and Quipu TV (QTV) for Scotland. This series serves as a medium for Afghanistan for their upcoming five-ODI series against Ireland beginning from July 10 at Belfast. Scotland would have also understood the need for their bowlers to step up as they will be facing United Arab Emirates (UAE) from August 9. If the rains do not wash out the game again, this could be the moment for both teams to revive themselves with Afghanistan continuing their winning streak and Scotland hoping for fresh beginnings in ODIs. Both teams have managed to display single innings from their end and will hoping to show complete show, if rains do not play spoilsport. Afghanistan’s middle-order put up major chunk on runs on board with Rahmat Shah scoring his century and Najibullah Zadran complimenting him on the other side.

In hindsight, Scotland will want to get better with their bowling apart from Badley Wheal who grabbed two wickets of Noor Ali Zadran and skipper Asghar Stanikzai. While Con de Lange was the only bowler conceding minimum runs from his seven overs. Knowing the game is played at their home ground, Scotland will want to start afresh and win against the visitors. While Afghanistan, who have won two consecutive ODI series against same opponents Zimbabwe, aim to continue the winning streak against Scotland as well.
