Lauderhill: Jul 2, 2012

After getting defeated by West Indies in the first Twenty20 International on Saturday, New Zealand will look to strike back in the second Twenty20 International on Sunday.

West Indies made 209 for two off their 20 overs with Gayle unbeaten on 85 and Pollard making 63 not out in a partnership of 108.

New Zealand were then bowled out for 153 in the 19th over with opener Rob Nicol top-scoring with 32.

Earlier, after winning the toss West indies chose to bat.

The Caribbean side had come into the match after a disastrous tour of England, where they failed to win a single match. The West Indies lost the three-match Test and One-Day International series by 0-2 margins, and also sliding to a heavy defeat in the one-off T20I last Sunday.
