Opener Virender Sehwag completed his 1,000 runs against Pakistan in One-day Internationals during World Cup semi-final match on Wednesday.

The Delhi player became the sixth Indian batsman to score 1,000 runs or more in ODIs against Pakistan.

The 31-year-old joined the likes of Mohammad Azharuddin (1,657), Sachin Tendulkar (2,414 before semi-final match), Rahul Dravid, Saurav Ganguly (1,652) and Yuvraj Singh (1,251).

Sehwag scored a blistering 38 off 25balls against Pakistan to reach 1,036 runs.
