Opener Virender Sehwag is doubtful for India’s World Cup Group B clash with West Indies on Sunday, due to an allergic reaction in his right knee, India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said on Saturday.

Opener Virender Sehwag is doubtful for India’s World Cup Group B clash with West Indies on Sunday, due to an allergic reaction in his right knee, India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said on Saturday. 

 

“Viru has got an allergic reaction in his right knee. So we will take a call either in the evening or by the morning, just before the game,” Dhoni told reporters. 

 

The Indian captain, however, did not reveal as to who will replace Sehwag. 

 

“You have to wait until tomorrow for the playing XI.”
