Pakistan is currently playing against Bangladesh in the second Test of 3-match series at Rawalpindi. But right before the series started, Pakistan dropped a massive announcement when they declared the plating 12 for the game. Superstar pacer Shaheen Afridi was shockingly dropped out of the team.

Though Pakistan Test match head coach stated that Afridi was released from the team to spend some time with his family, the reason being his newborn son, it seems that there might have been other reasons for this decision to be made.

A report by Cricket Pakistan revealed that a member of Pakistan team management is responsible for Shaheen Afridi being dropped out, as he ‘does not like’ the pace bowler. This broke the heart of Afridi and he felt that this was unfair.

These events have resulted majorly in a negative way for Afridi as he sacrificed his league contracts in order to remain available for Test cricket.

Off spinner Abrar Ahmed has been bought in as a replacement for Afridi. Mir Hamza could also be a likely replacement for Afridi, as Abrar will most likely take place of Mohammad Ali.
