Shakib-Al-Hasan picked up a couple of wickets to help Bangladesh restrict India to 398 for three on Day Three of the one-off Test at Fatullah. India started things off well. Murali Vijay got to his sixth Test century and India looked to cruise along. But his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan caught and bowled by Shakib for 173 and the opening stand of 277 was finally broken. Rohit Sharma walked in at No.3 with positive intent. He took the aerial route and got his first boundary, but he could not last any longer as he was clean bowled by Shakib, trying to play an expansive drive outside off. Skipper Virat Kohli was the next batsman. India having lost two wickets in quick succession needed yet another partnership now. But Kohli’s innings too ended abruptly as Jubair Hossain bowled a wrong on, which Kohli could not read. The ball took the inside edge, hit Kohli’s pads and rolled on to the wicket. Vijay at the other end ensured that he remained steady and looked unfazed by the loss of wickets at the other end. Ajinkya Rahane scored his seventh half-century and will hope that he can kick on and make a big score. Vijay is nearing his 150 and he might up the ante once he reaches the landmark. He and Rahane will look to consolidate once play resumes. IND vs BAN 2015, Free Live Streaming Online (Bangladesh users)

Earlier on Day One, India had won the toss and elected to bat first. Skipper Kohli would have been happy with the way his openers began, but certainly will not be happy to have lost three wickets quickly. India have however managed to recover courtesy of a 50-plus stand between Vijay and Rahane. Harbhajan Singh makes a comeback into the Indian side after a gap of over two years. He will hope to get a bowl soon. Litton Das makes his debut for Bangladesh.

Brief scores:

India 398 for 3 (Murali Vijay 144*, Shikhar Dhawan 173; Shakib-Al-Hasan 2 for 78, Jubair Hossain 1 for 85) vs Bangladesh
