Bangladesh‘s star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan registered his 5,000th run during the ongoing first ODI of the five-match series versus South Africa. Shakib has also become the fastest to slam 5,000 runs and attain 200 wickets in the format. At present, Shakib has a job in hand and needs to lay a solid platform with the bat to take Bangladesh to a challenging score against South Africa at Diamond Oval, Kimberley.
