Shakib al Hasan, the Bangladeshi all-rounder will rejoin Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad on Monday. The No 1 ranked all-rounder across formats is an important member of the Gautam Gambhir’s team with his inclusion KKR squad will be boosted significantly ahead of their important clash against Mumbai Indians.

Shakib played the first two matches of KKR and left for Bangladesh to represent his country against Pakistan. He performed decently in the three match ODI series and scored a match winning half-century in the on-off T20 International (T20I). Bangladesh created history and white washed Pakistan in the all limited overs games.

With the inclusion of Shakib, KKR’s spin brigade will be boosted. He is expected to replace Johan Botha in the playing elevan. KKR are currently ranked No. 2 in the points table with 15 points. They have two more group games left.
