Australia’s all-rounder Shane Watson, who was dropped from the side in the second Ashes Test at Lord’s, managed to make his presence felt at Lord’s Cricket Ground by flaunting his muscles off the field. Watson, who is well known for his display of strength on the pitch, revealed he was equally comfortable flexing his muscles. As the 2015 Ashes broadcaster brought the camera at him, the unhesitating father of two showed off his shirtless physique. Following the shocking 169-run defeat to England in the Ashes’ first Test, Australia selectors opted not to give Watson any more chances to prove himself. The 34-year old got a half-hour spell in the field, when he was seen at his familiar position at first slip. He had substituted Adam Voges, who had sustained a hip injury and unable to take his place for the entire day.

Despite being dropped from the second Test, Australian Coach Darren Lehman still believes in the Queensland’s cricketer. In an interview earlier, Lehman insisted that the man would make a comeback as there is still plenty of cricket left in him. READ: Mitchell Marsh happy to do bowl for Michael Clarke

Watson has been replaced by Mitchell Marsh, who has been successful in doing justice to his role of an all-rounder. In the third day of the second Test at Lord’s, Marsh bagged crucial wickets of Ben Stokes (87) and Alastair Cook (96). The visitors wrapped up England for 312, thereby going into their second innings with a lead of 254 runs.
