In the game played between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014, Shane Watson the captain of RR took heavy toll on the opposition bowlers with some fine power-hitting. On the other end, Sanju Samson quietly went about his job of collecting runs by piercing gaps in the field with  precise metre of timing. He finally got out to Sunil Narine for 37. As far as as Watson is concerned, he was particularity severe on the medium pacer, Vinay Kumar. RR should end up with a score of around 180. But the wicket is true and KKR can chase it down.

Earlier, Gautam Gambhir won the toss and elected to field. There was a tinge of grass on the wicket which surprised many, but the track has played true till the completion of 12 overs.  It was Ajinkya Rahane who showcased some fine stroke-play by playing shots with equanimity, balance and poise. Once he was run out, Samson and Nair took over by doing well. Nair too was out, stumped off the bowling of Shakib Al Hasan.
