Shikhar Dhawan scores maiden T20I half-century against Sri Lanka in 2nd T20I at Ranchi

Indian opener, Shikhar Dhawan scored his maiden half-century in T20I, in the second of the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium in Ranchi on Friday. His fifty came off 22 deliveries, including seven boundaries and a couple of six, along with a strike rate of 221.73. He was dismissed for 51 by Dushmantha Chameera after being caught behind. Currently, India are 75 for the loss of a wicket in seven overs, with opener Rohit Sharma on 22 and Ajinkya Rahane makes his way in. Earlier, Sri Lankan skipper Dinesh Chandimal won the toss and elected to bowl first, as he made a change in the form of Tilakaratne Dilshan, who comes in for Niroshan Dickwella, while Indian skipper MS Dhoni moved in with an unchanged squad from the opening T20I loss at Pune.
