Zimbabwe managed to halt the flow of runs, which was coming Pakistan’s way with ease at one stage. Earlier, Mohammad Hafeez and Azhar Ali got their side off to a good start with a 115-run opening stand, with Hafeez scoring his 25th ODI fifty. Following Ali’s dismissal four runs short of a half-century, Pakistan began to lose wickets to allow Zimbabwe to make a brief comeback in the game. Pakistan earlier won the toss and elected to bat, with both teams making two changes to their lineup. While Pakistan opted to get Babar Azam and Junaid Khan in place of Haris Sohail and Mohammad Sami, the visitors decided to get Roy Kaia and Christopher Mpofu in place of Brian Vitori and Tawanda Mupariwa. Azam and Kaia are making their debuts for Pakistan and Zimbabwe respectively. The match will bring an end to Zimbabwe’s landmark tour of Pakistan, consisting of two Twenty20 Internationals (T20I) and three ODIs, with Zimbabwe yet to win a match so far.
