Pakistan would eye a big win over Canada at Colombo on Thursday

Colombo: Mar 3, 2011

 

Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi won the toss and elected to bat against Canada in their World Cup Group A match at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Thursday.

 

Pakistan are brimming with confidence after two wins over Kenya and Sri Lanka respectively while Canada would be looking to lift their game after heavy defeats at the hands of Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in their first two games.

Pakistan: Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Kamran Akmal (wk), Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq,  Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi (c), Abdul Razzaq, Saeed Ajmal, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz.
