After PM Narendra Modi announced a nationwide lockdown for 21 days starting March 24 midnight, several spoertspersons are finding different ways to keep themselves engaged during the self-isolation and quarantine period. Iyer, who was earlier seen spending his time by trying some magic tricks and playing with his dog, on Wednesday, answered some of his fans querries in #AskShreyas session.
During the interaction, te 25-year-old right-hander answered a plethora of questions and expressed his views about the legends of the game ranging from Sachin Tendulkar to Ricky Ponting and also spoke about the modern day masters Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma.
When a fan asked Shreyas about his childhood hero, he didn’t pick up a solitary name but mentioned five cricketers whom he considers his role models. Iyer chose Tendulkar, Kevin Pietersen, AB de Villiers, Rohit and Kohli as his role models.
The Mumbai-born batter was also asked to describe current India captain Kohli and former India skipper MS Dhoni.
When asked about his favourite India fast bowler, Iyer wasted no time and mentioned the name of former great Zaheer Khan. He also spoke about his favourite IPL knock.
