Sourav Ganguly views on MS Dhoni as a captain were very optimistic. He also said that he is sad to see match-fixing to have tainted the image of cricket and when he was asked about what he thinks about his fans he phonated that he wishes to thank them. Ganguly feels that the Indian Cricket team has at present a lot of incredible players with brilliant finesse in all the departments of the game. As of Dhoni he praised him very highly and said that Dhoni’s record in the shorter format of the game is the best for any Indian cricketer. Ganguly on speaking with ‘The Hindustan Times’  said, “I feel honoured to be loved by so many people… I thank all those who have been so supportive even after I stopped playing.” He further said that if a biopic is ever made on him it will be in Hindi and not Bengali. In Ganguly’s words when asked on his views on whether match-fixing has tainted the image of the game he said “Yes, it has. The game needs to be clean. Ganguly felt honoured by so many people who have stood by him in difficult times and especially his fan base which has always supported him. In the end he said that Vijay, Rahane, KL Rahul, Kohli and Rohit Sharma are very talented players.
