The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has submitted a list to the Supreme Court of India, containing the names of the people having a conflict of interest. The Supreme Court had asked the BCCI to provide the names and had also asked them to look into the officials having a stake in Indian Premier League (IPL) teams.
NDTV reported that the list submitted features the likes of Sourav Ganguly, Lalchand Rajput, Sunil Gavaskar, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Venkatesh Prasad and Ravi Shastri. Earlier, the Supreme Court had told the BCCI, âWhat would be the effect on the Indian Premier League and Champions League if your president does not own a team? If he goes, will it lead to collapse of the project.â
