Australia have been in news for all the wrong reasons for the past few days, however they have shown a decent performance on Day One of the final Test against South Africa. The visitors got the early wicket of Dean Elgar who has made carrying his bat a habit. They even dismissed Hashim Amla for 27 and even sent back Faf du Plessis for a golden duck. It was Aiden Markram who stood tall smashing 152 runs with AB de Villiers (69). They stitched a partnership of 105 runs for the third wicket.

Pat Cummins starred for the Australians with the ball. He picked the main wickets of Markram, Amla and du Plessis. Debutant Chadd Sayers also claimed two wickets with his maiden wicket being de Villiers. He surely had a good Friday. Kagiso Rabada was sent in as a nightwatchman but he fell prey to Sayers two balls after de Villiers dismissal. The host are 313 for six at stumps with Temba Bavuma and Quinton de Kock in the middle.

The live telecast of Day Two will be available on Sony Six and Sony Six HD. Whereas, the live streaming of the match will be on SonyLIV. Australia would love to get an early break through on Saturday and restrict the score under 400.
